Within the Union he is responsible for the sports-technical policy. Focus point is the preparation and education of new talent in all cycling disciplines; road racing, cyclo-cross, track cycling, BMX, Mountainbike and para-cycling. Besides that he and his team are responsible for guiding the top athletes towards winning medals in European-, World and Olympic Championships.
